• Hoops Dynasty would have projected me as a D2 recruit, but that wouldn't stop me from going D1

Who am I?

Derrick White went to Legend High School in Colorado. Played 3 years at DII after not getting recognized in high school because he was undersized...honestly might have been a DIII prospect since his top school was Johnson & Wales originally.

Wound up at Colorado (D1) his senior year.

Has been banged up repeatedly on the Spurs.

I was thinking it was someone who transferred from D2 to D1. Or someone who walked on to a D1 team.

Realized I included the banged up piece because I mistakenly read kc's durability rating piece on Greg Oden as part of the clue...makes even more sense that it's Derrick White without the durability piece.

Steph Curry? He barely made D1 played at Davidson and was a monster, not sure about how good he was in high school though.
