Can I draft 22 players? Topic

Help! Noob here! I drafted a team with 22 players, 12 hitters and 10 pitchers. I’m right at the 80 million mark. Since I met the minimum requirements for IP & PA and also the hitters and pitchers, can I submit this team? It says I have 3 more picks remaining. Is there a way around this? Thanks in advance!

There is not.

You must submit a 25 man roster.

However - and this is a little-known fact even among some experienced owners...
Once the season starts, you can release up to 3 players WITHOUT replacing them, provided you stay above the PA/IP minimums. So you can end up with a roster with as few as 22 players. You just can't start there.

Contrarian, Thank you! This is very helpful! Also, do you know if leagues still fill/schedule at 11:35 each day. I did a little research, but trying to make sure all my buddies and I can get in the same public OL. Thanks again!
