Ok, I think I see what you’re getting at. The principle above applies here too, just remove the “relative to other teams” part, and think of it in your own team’s vacuum. If you’re just using this approach to approximate how many AP you might need, there’s no real harm in being simplistic. The difference in required AP in the example is not likely more than a couple. But I would still want to keep a mind on how my potential rivals may stack up against me. In any case, the bigger factors in how many AP required to unlock recruiting actions for recruits are how highly the recruit is ranked, and your team’s division and prestige. And then maybe gil’s mysterious “sense of self” concept. Who knows about that?
