Yeah I've done a simple ask a coach if he was actively recruiting a player in the past and then had to immediately follow up with a second site mail to not answer me because I realized it was an unfair recruiting practice. We all make mistakes. I just look at things this way. If no one knows nothing about a player but the ratings I can get honest feedback and opinions while still keeping a fair competitive balance. Any time a discussion is made about an unsigned recruit where the name, state, position and teams are mentioned it becomes a violation of fair play guidelines. I'm sure all coaches have the same mindset, but as a UNC fan I have heard Roy Williams say on numerous occasions he will not talk about a recruit until the LOI has been signed. Even if a recruit has committed, he will not talk about the recruit other than the player as a person and how excited he is to have them as a future Tar Heel. Same principles should apply in HD.

Williams is not allowed to talk about a recruit until he has signed the letter of intent - all NCAA coaches have to follow this principle.

Aint allowed, we all should realize it without looking at the guidelines - but it would be fine to make them more prominent. A click through as you renew would make sense -I confirm that I have read the guidelines....
