clarification on rookie strength ratings Topic

Are the 1, 2, 3, 4 levels for rookies strong from 1 up or 1 down? I've always assumed the higher numbers were stronger, but maybe not.

I don’t think those numbers actually mean anything. The rookies are real seasons that are disguised as “rookies.” You can figure out who they are by doing a player search for someone with the same per%, mid%, pnt%, etc - and see exactly what the player is.

Also, open leagues are kind of lame and you should join us here on the forum leagues. We do drafts, progressives, and more. Hope to see you in some.

Higher numbers are theoretically better, but the numbers don't mean much.

The rookies are actually real players in the sim database. You can search for them in the player search. Use their per%, mid%, pnt%, and position effectiveness and use a range. So, if your rookie is 80% effective at PG, 90% effective at SG, 100% effective at SF and PF, and 90% effective at C, search for 79-81, 89-91, 100, 100, 89-91.

and then if you still have 3 or 4 guys to pick from in your search look at their height/weights and there is your guy
