Interesting to note so far:

0 "whenever's" signed on the 1st cycle.

After the 2nd cycle, there are almost as many "end of 1st" and there are "early's". Could "end of 1st" mean they won't sign on the 1st cycle?

Notes
*Number of recruits that signed "early" and "end of the 1st" are even 24 hours after signings started.
*Only 16 signed on the 1st cycle, but became more consistent after that, right about 40 signings for each cycle.
*It will be interesting to see if there ends up being close to the same amount of "early's""end of 1st" and "whenever's". at the end of recruiting.

I remember seeing explanations of what the various tendencies mean– i.e. the stipulations/ probabilities to sign in the early period for each of the classifications. Can somebody please help me find that information? I would be very grateful

I did a bit of a list in early v3. Analyzing about 5000 D1 recruits.
This only includes recruits that were considering a D1 school for each signing period.

Early tendency is as you'd expect. 18% in the first 5pm cycle of signings. 46% by the 11pm. 72% by 5am, 88% by 11am, 94% by the second 5pm period.

End-1: 4% first 5pm period. 19% by 11pm, 35% by 5am, 55% by 11am, 77% by second 5pm. 91% by 11pm.

Whenever is as expected covers the gamut: 1 of 504 that were considering a D1 team signed during the first 5pm cycle. 12% by 11pm. 30% by 5am. 45% by 11am, 63% by 5pm second day 79% by 11pm. Only about 9% held out for the Late recruiting session.

And when you say “considering,” that’s independent of whether the interest is high or very high, O.W.?

Yep. At least one D1 team was at high or better at the time of the signing.

So it's often a fluid number from cycle to cycle as more and more recruits are targeted later in recruiting.

So do those with "late" signing preference always wait until the second recruiting session to sign?

Yes they ALWAYS wait until RS2. No exceptions.

and they can begin signing at any point. Sometimes it can be the very first cycle of RS2. Sometimes it can be the last. But the closer it gets towards the end of RS2, the chances get higher each cycle that he will sign.
