How about stop generating recruits that want a rebuild AND a long time coach LMAO
Why wouldn't you want to play for a proven loser?
A little bit of "girl lusts after drug dealing dropout, claims she can change him for the better" vibes with those recruits.

My pet suggestion in the style of preferences would be "pipelines" - recruit a kid from a certain high school and for two seasons you get a boost at that school

Recruit a kid in a small geographic area - lets say an area that averages apx 20 recruits each season - and you get a boost in that area (cant say "in a state" because that would equate California and Alaska.....

I want to be able to build a pipeline from Des Moines or Puerto Rico or Lithuania
I love that idea fd. And just to take it a step further, what if you could hire an assistant coach to a 5-6 season contract. You could have the option of:

1) Sign a recruit's dad and receive a huge boost to signing that recruit. But since it's a 6 season contract, you wouldn't get any additional benefit from this hiring for 6 seasons.
2) Sign a high school coach and get a moderate boost for any recruit from that HS for the 6 season period.
3) Sign some sort of state recruiting expert and get a small boost for any recruit from that state (or area of a state for the larger states).

There's a lot of things that could be implemented to make the recruiting process more strategic and fun.

Where does "6 seasons" come into play?!

+1 pipelining has been proposed in the past

I say keep it simple & just give a coach a small boost in recruiting from a particular state for every player he has from that state currently on his roster (which is how the NCAA Football games handled pipelining).
