I have just enough recruiting money left to either give out one campus visit (around $1100) or two home visits (around $1200 total) to a specific recruit.

Does it matter which one I do? Would the 2 HVs be marginally better than the 1 CV?

I prefer 1 CV over 2 HV like 99% of the time.

but for no logical reason at all, if that will be my total amount of visit effort, I'd probably do 2 HV. I don't like 1 of anything. But that's based off nothing statistical.

now if your asking the difference between 20hv or 18hv/1cv I'd do the 18/1

one thing I'm not sure that every coach in the game is aware of, is that a player will only accept 5 total CVs from schools. And I feel that was designed so in cases where there would be a 10 team roll, it would separate the 5 schools that got the CV in from the pack. But I don't think that situation happens often. As there aren't enough human controlled teams.

folks used to say - based on different theories but little hard data - that a campus visit was worth something in the 2.3-2.5 home visits......but long time since i have seen this discussed - and even the old discussion wasnt with high confidence

Yep. It's not like a CV will be worth less than 2 HVs.
