Hey, I am trying to figure out why this guy had such a terrible season compared to his previous seasons. Is it just bad luck? Or is there some other variable I am missing. His ratings remained constant over past 5 seasons.

His numbers seem to be in line with previous seasons except his OAV driving higher ERA and OBP. Pitching between 60 and 80 innings, yep, it's a run of bad luck, or regression.
Could be as simple as the teams you're playing against got better, or even that he's just run into their stronger hitters more often this season.

Does ntot take much to skew 60 innings. He should be a 1.20 whip guy. HE should be able to get 80 innings a season as well.

Thanks, I had switched him from SUA to SUB about half way through season because he was doing so terrible. I will put him back to SUA next season and hope he breaks out of his slump.
