I don't know guitarguy, but if I had to guess I'd say he is a conscientious objector to voting, in the same way some are to war.

If you ever come into contact with guitarguy, can you please tell him to make more normative claims and actually defend solutions to the problems he talks about? That way, he can actually have a coherent philosophy and not just one where his only political opinions consist of complaining about one side.
