Jumping to D1 Topic

Is there any certain criteria a coach needs to have to make the jump from D2 to D1?

I know going from D3 to D2 is easy and it makes sense for the D2 to D1 jump to be harder just wondering how much harder it is. (That's what she said.)

Is it based on NT appearances? NT wins? Or just time served?

In my experience, three consecutive NT appearances has gotten it done.

In Iba I currently have a second round exit followed by a first round exit, and that wasn't good enough to move up.

There's also some rumor that there's a minimum wins requirement, which my Iba resume would surely not meet.

I just moved up last season in Phelen with 3 NT's (1st round, 2 second round exits), there was a PI Final four before that, but I don't think that's worth much.
