He did play the most minutes, hence more opportunities. Distribution comes into play for who is on the floor at any given point in time.

I get that, and I thought about that possibility as well, except for the fact that the PG was set at 4% of the offense and I have guys 20, 17, 13, 13, 12, 7, 7, 5 ahead of him spread out (fairly evenly) among both on the bench and starters. So even factoring in him having the most minutes, the distribution should have been spread out much more.

I think it's just one of those weird anomalies that happen in the sim engine from time to time, but it cracks me up that someone that far down in the offense distribution could end up as player of the game.
