I've been playing in Patriot for long time and my team and the conference really stink. This is the first time I've ever had recruit preference for conference being bad. Are all preferences the same ? Is bad conference really bad?

Not all preferences are equal. But the recruit decides what's important to him. I view preferences in tiers somewhat.

Tier 1, wants to play, distance, and success
Tier 2, all the rest, except......
Tier 3, offensive set, defensive set

I have no evidence that it works exactly this way. But it's the vague way I value the importance of some preferences. Within each tier I'm sure there are levels to which is more important. And again, the recruit himself values each differently

Patriot has really gone downhill since I left Hartford? That’s a bummer, I enjoyed my time there.
