Max training and medical and have great coaching and you can flatten the curve. You just have to decide if it is worth the expense to your organization.
Agreed -- it doesn't stop the decline. Once the player starts declining, a good coaching staff and training budget will only slow it down.
My season 48 Ottawa team has one of the best coaching staffs I have ever assembled, but the below player started declining during pre-season. I would bet if my coaching staff was just an average coaching staff, the player would be losing ratings in splits every cycle as opposed to every other cycle.
