Camp v assistant scouting Topic

I have never used camp much, but thinking fresh about it.

Camp costs 60 per player - as does assistant scouting.

Anyone who uses camp at DI have views on when how it is better than assistant scouting? I am assuming a custom camp so one gets only DI players.

Thoughts are..... assistant is $60 per level, per recruit. Public camp is $ 60 per level, per recruit. But the private camp is $60 for TWO levels. So in basic recruiting situations, my Private Camp is the most important and cheapest without question in my routine

But, if it's not a "basic" recruiting situation - say you need all bigs, or all guards - the assistant can be more useful and efficient for your budget. If you want to focus on internationals, the assistant is much better. Location factors in of course.

Don't do it . . . it's all a scheme to implant microchips so that they can track your every move and control you . . .

Oh wait, wrong thread

in d1 i almost always run one in my area. unless i forget until right before recruiting and its too late. its only 500 miles out, i feel like with d1 scouting, you are usually hitting most of the players in that range. agree with dogg that it doesn't make sense when you have 1-2 man classes and only want to scout 2-3 positions.
