DII Coach - When do DI players sign? Topic

Coaching in DII for the first time this season. When are DI recruits eligible to sign for a DII school? Are they eligible to sign after that first cycle of Recruiting period 2? Or are they not eligible to sign until that 11 PM cycle on the second to last day of recruiting, as it is in DIII?

You can sign them when the very first recruiting cycle of Recruiting Session 2 processes. You don’t have to wait like D3.

Pay attention to their preferences. If they have Early or End of Period 1, they’re likely to try to sign on that first cycle.
