totally unimportant but semi interesting question...

when a human coach leaves, what does simmy do with O & D?

Each school has a default O and D which the sim returns to when it gains control again.

ok thanks JT! Mystery solved!

does a school have the same default o and d in each world? or is it random?

i think the o/d was originally random per school, but is consistent across worlds. so all uconns would be zone, etc. not positive though.

before 3.0, the sim used to just keep whatever set the old coach played. now if a good program has even just a 1 season sim ai gap, the simai often wrecks them with the off/def switch, which i think is a bad enhancement, making it that much harder of a rebuild. plus it makes that sim program much crappier the next couple seasons - previously, when good teams in good confs were left open for a season or two before filling, the simai at least did a half way competent job of coaching the quality players the old coach left. recruiting would be a mess but it wasn't like this instant drop off a cliff in terms of the next season.

It is correct. I usually play a sim team in Game 1 in every season. I pick from the same 5 teams or so because I know what their sets are. Same in every world

How come Sim Zone teams are always running the 2-3 and never the 3-2? I don't think I've ever seen a Sim 3-2 and humans are probably at least 50/50 with either zone, maybe even a preference for the 3-2.
