Am I right that a recruit will take campus visits to only 5 schools or am i transposing that from some real life rule?

If so, what happens if a player gets to that limit? Lets say that he has been on four campus visits. A new cycle starts - 60 minutes into the cycle school A clicks on campus visit. It goes through. 90 minutes into the cycle school B clicks on campus visit. That would be six. Does it not happen? or does the engine somehow decide which one of A and B goes thru?

Or am I imagining all this?

Wake up, you've had a bad dream. You have been in the Twilight Zone! :) I have never heard of anyone, who has had a campus visit rejected. It might be an urban legend.

The cost of these is based on the distance between the recruit and the school. These actions have a much higher value than the attention points. A recruit may only visit a particular school's campus one time, and may only go on 5 total campus visits."

That is supposedly the limit .. it was a big deal to be rolled into 3.0.

This helps with people being able to jump in late if the guy has taken his visits. I have never been rejected, I would assume it would say he has already taken 5 trips.

Maybe we should pick guy and 5 people invite him .. wait til the next turn .. someone else try it .. and see what happens

Yes I have been unable to. And it was when I first came back in 2017. And the weird thing was, there were sims involved. That made it really odd. I stumbled on to it. It wasn't intentional. I was still under the training wings of benis. And trying to learn to push down sims. Well I happened to pick one of those players that gets offered by 1000 sims. Until they separate themselves from the pack. And it was really late in recruiting because he wasn't a top target. I believe I just had money left over, and was trying things. I know for a fact I mentioned it to benis when it happened. But he may not remember recruiting from a team that wasn't his.

All it did was blank out my campus visit option in the same manner it blanks out your HV after you do the 20 max. Here was the player........

Interesting! No doubt rare because how many 6 way battles or even tentative battles are there.

It happened to me a few seasons ago in Naismith. I had been lying in the weeds on a backup-backup option into the Late signing period and I had fresh money after losing a guy to the draft.

Imagine my surprise when the few humans and several SIMs who were in the mix for the guy meant that I could no longer give him a Campus Visit. Whoops. I ended up losing out on the guy :)
