On a whim i appliwd to a longshot school. And actually got it! Bowling Green in knight.

It may be more complicated than this. I play this game with a big group of friends and a bunch of them just got promoted to DI schools without being qualified for them. 6 in total. I'm thinking it's a glitch with the new patch.

I jumped to D2 in two worlds more quickly than I could’ve before. I think maybe they made it easier to get from D3 to D2 and from D2 to D1 if the team has a sim coach and no other human applies. (I assume you can’t jump to a higher prestige D1 without qualifying the way you had to before.)

oh well - at least I am coaching a fun team. Not like its Duke or anything

I noticed this only *after* I applied to D- prestige Loyola MD lol, let this be a lesson kids: always aim high, because even if you fall you may land amongst the stars (or, well, errr the MAC)

Not a glitch, but it was something we aimed to fix in the last patch but its a little more complicated than that so there are a few outstanding situation with the current player base, but I would say if there is a job you want apply for it and see.

Our goal was to enable people to get to the jobs they wanted instead of taking 10+ seasons to get there.

That's great to hear. It was always a little strange that longshots were basically no-shots before.

I am glad to hear this, I think this is going to pay off in the long run for HD. I know there are many users who think putting in the work in DIII and DII is the best way to get hooked on the game, and while I don't necessarily disagree, I think there are probably a ton of potential users who would like to try and build a DI program rather than toil away in lower divisions. It boils down to personal preference I suppose

Why wasn’t this implemented 10 seasons ago! Lol. Glad for this. Was frustrating before!!!

@adlorenz any chance you can put some color commentary on this?

Are there certain requirements you must hit before you can jump from D3 to D2 and from D2 to D1?

I started a new thread on the population of Knight World, before i read thru this thread.

D1 numbers in Knight are at 160, which is higher than i ever remember.
