ST is the worst. Boring, unnecessary, and should be simmed in a day.

To make it interesting, I try to see how many players I can get to play in one game.

My record so far is 43 (25 position players, 18 pitchers).

Anybody else interested in joining the ST Challenge®?

Good idea. I'll give it a shot. Did you do this with the new reduced pitch counts?

I use 5/5 PCs for my prospects and player rest set at 1. Looking through a few, highest I see is 43 as well

Yes, set starters to 20 and all relievers to 5. I have 65 players on my ST roster. Set pinch hitting/running to very aggressive, etc. Most I can seem to get into one game is 43. I need an extra inning game!

I love doing this to pass the time in ST. The max for me is usually 43-44 in an NL game, and it has to be a game where I can get in rest and defensive replacements. DH games are much less. Extra inning games are a jackpot.

I topped out at 45 in one game. No extra innings. Oh well. At least it makes ST somewhat interesting!

Tell you one thing, using the reduced pitch count and a higher pull rating has really simplified the handling of my pitching staff! More of them get into games, they all stay fresher... I don't need to move them on and off the bench as much as I used to.
