Prestige drop with coach change? Topic

Just noticed that I left my NAU team in Naismith with B prestige, and when a new coach from D2 took over, the prestige dropped to B-. Has this always been something that can happen? Or do y'all think this might be an added part of the new job system?

That was there before. If the new coach is reaching up, the prestige goes down a little. If the new coach is making a lateral or backwards move, it holds steady (I don’t think it improves, though I could be wrong).

it can actually go up, too - i've seen it go up 1 partial grade a bunch of times.

i've never seen a drop or raise of more than 1 partial grade.

Correct, it can move up. I took over Minnesota in Iba this year, C- prestige, and they immediately moved to a C prestige.
