I'm hoping that many of the new D1 coaches figure out that they would have a much better chance at the NT with a mid-major or smaller conference team. Maybe that will help balance D1 so its not so top heavy?

Also I wanted to add that it doesn't make sense for the dev team to make a ton of big changes right now. Assuming the plan is to completely rewrite the code in a modern programming language (that's the plan right?), then its probably best to wait. Otherwise they'll be doing the work twice, once with the old code and once with the new code. Of course, I'm not a programmer so maybe that's not the case.

I do want to see job firings, but I'm willing to be patient while they undertake the massive job of overhauling the code, which I'm guessing will take months at the very least.

I think firings should be done by baseline prestige and only at Big6 schools. Can’t be under your schools baseline prestige for more than two seasons and x amount of seasons to get to it if you start below it. Would be simple.
