I've been attacked by a few A+ programs the past few cycles late in the recruiting process only to lose players to "promised" minutes that they ultimately are never able to live up to.

Do those coaches receive prestige hits for failing to live up to promises to recruits that ultimately transfer?

This is probably a very elementary question but I've just recently come back to the game after a few years off and have noticed this trend quite a bit.

You only need to keep promises for their freshman season so its usually not that difficult to maintain them. Are you seeing a lot of transfers? Because transfers of high profile recruits are fairly rare in my experience.
