a special congrats to chapelhillne at delaware state in tark for building the best program in d1 at a low major!! delaware state has recently taken the top spot on the 10 year d1 dynasty rankings and the 5 year d1 dynasty rankings (not just in tark, but across all 10 worlds).

you could say well, his prestige is A+ now, and his conference is the best non BCS conference in the game and a true power conference, so maybe that makes sense. that would be true, but he started on D- prestige in a **** conference, and it only took a mere 21 seasons for him to get delaware state to the pinnacle of HD - the best d1 program in the game. very impressive, congrats chap!!

Possibly the best coach to ever play the game. Definitely top-5. Congrats to chapel for all of his success.

I’m definitely not the best ever to play the game LOL. But I definitely appreciate that compliment. I still only have 19 championships, and that’s in close to 600 years. Gillespie actually taught me a lot recently which has helped may pick up the pace a bit. The Delaware State team has been A lot of fun, and the conference itself is really fun because it’s full and we are trying to make it competitive with the major conferences. We have been able to make the conference usually one of the top three conferences in the Tarkanian World

I’m still a little bummed the timing didn’t work out for me to join that conference; it was full when I took a D1 program in Tark, then when a spot opened, and chap sent me a sitemail about it, I wasn’t qualified (back in the days when that mattered) because I had recently taken a D1 job.

Big Sky is moving up in Tark too; though I’ve retired that world for a bit, might jump in again when my life allows more teams again. Small conferences can be a lot of fun with the right group of coaches.
