Demotion After Trade Topic

Immediately after accepting a trade, a team demoted all of the players involved in the trade. Two of the players lost two ratings points. Can I do anything about this? What should I do?

If your trading partner demoted the players involved, that should nullify the trade.

Does that happen automatically?

I would post in the world chat and ask everyone to veto the trade and explain why.

They should get rid of rating points loss for demotions. MLB does this everyday.

This is one I can kind of agree with you on. Specifically the demotions between ML and AAA. In real life is actually considered optioning which when applied to rookies or players with low service time doesn't really mean a demotion because of a particular lack of talent, but just because its a way to keep rosters deeper.

I don't know how code intensive that change would be but would be a worthy QOL change.

Something needs to be done with this. I once moved a P, with options, down to AAA b/c of fatigue, for a few games, of course he lost ratings points across the board and took 2 years to recover them. It basically makes optioning players as a strategy useless.
