IFA Bidding Question Topic

Hey, I had a bid for an IFA of 15M, and he signed with someone else for 10M. Is that normal? Are other factors considered when bidding on IFA's? They were both Minor League contracts with invite.

A lot of posts about this happening lately...It seems if an IFA thinks he's not "worthy" of the higher amount he will reject it...though all the posts have been about $20mm versus around $18mm, not at the lower amounts you're describing. 3 or 4 different threads about this type of thing happening in the past month or so

If he rejected your offer-- if he said something like, "That's too much, it would embarrass me,"-- then it's believable.

If he said he was considering your offer, it's a problem and you need to send a ticket.

"That's all you think I'm worth? Somebody else loves me more. Unless you up your offer, you can count me out."

And I was winning at 15.3M, then got this message.

Send a ticket, and please report back what they're saying about it.

+1. There's something I don't understand, or there's a bug here.

So... mystery solved. I was winning at 15M, wanted some insurance so I upped it a little more, but left off a zero and dropped my bid to 1.6M. Support confirmed. OOPS!!
