Walk ons are a funny part of game to me since so many are so Insanely bad.

so it got me to wondering: has any coach here ever had a walk on good enough to where they offered them a scholarship?

I’ve never had one even close to scholarship level, and I think I may have the worst player of all time on my LIU roster (Cecil Pittman). So curious to see if anyone has ever been blessed with a stud walk on

I had a decent guy a few seasons ago at A level LSU.

I didn't offer a scholarship, but he played in 27 of 31 games. He ended up with an overall rating of 606 after his season, including a 83 DEF rating, plus a B+/B+ IQ.

I’ve noticed their IQs always seem to be pretty good

I have had two good one's over all my seasons, and one of them became a two year starter (at D1 in the Big East)..

I gave Charles Washington a scholarship. Ive had some bad luck recently recruiting so he was needed for depth.

Is it true that his potential got better after you offered him Indiansrck?

The only significant change I saw was his WE went up a ton. Potential wise I didn’t notice any change in colors from
what he had when he joined the team.
