watch for ripple effects as each of those jobs will attract applicants

meaningful coaching movement is good for the game in my opinion - takes me back to early days of HD - although in 3.0 it remains tough to be a coach arriving for the second recruiting session. That Duke job for example will be a major challenge....and opportunity of course

Illinois only has 4 openings (6 returning players + 2 incoming freshman) and has a local 5 star (0 miles from Campus) all but locked up as well as battles prepared for 2 more studs! Should only have to take 2 walkons at the worst!

New coach reduction is a killer tho. In Crum, me, knappj, and warleague all just went thru a trio switch between LSU, Texas, and Missouri. Once we arrived basically all effort from the 3 of us at our "previous" school was all but useless at once we arrived at our "new" school. I'm not sure if any of us signed the players that were targeted, pre departure.

Either way, that Illinois job is as good a job you can get

yeah the new coach reduction is huge! i was surprised how huge it was, but i guess it makes sense when you get all new money. its fine when its just a guy who was unlocked, its like starting over, but unlocked (hopefully) - but those guys with some money in, its like you are screwed because now those cv/hv slots are consumed and you can never get near max effort again.

I am still very sad about this, I was on vacation and had not auto-renewed so I lost my LSU program which I was most excited about in WIS history. Happy to be at Mizzou but I doubt I'll stay there long-term.
