Two seasons in a row now in Yogi Berra I'm seeing ~66% of all IFA's with $20M scouting (I believe drafts are closer to 90% with $20M scouting).

Seems lower than in past seasons but I've never bothered to actually track it so thought I'd see if anyone else has. Maybe I just never cared before because I got lucky and saw most of the big IFA's. Been whiffing on a lot of them lately.

I'm very curious about a different perspective of this...For a given IFA talent level, how many teams see him? Curious to know when bidding on good-but-not-HOF talent if sometimes there are only a few teams in on the guy. It seems all the 20-mil IFAs get seen and bid by many owners, but there is a "sweet spot" of fringe ML guys that can sometimes be had pretty cheaply, making me wonder if only a couple teams even saw the guy.

Nah, I think it's just the owners in the 5-10 range of top prospect payrolls who (should be grabbing those guys for $10-$15M but) end up passing on them hoping to get a stud when 9/10 they don't have a chance at them unless the 1-5 top payrolls don't see them. So they fall to the guys with $5M left in their budget.

In order to get even a snapshot of just one world, you'd have to get all the owners to share their information. LOL. Which probably wouldn't happen, given that I always feel like, when I see there's a Big IFA shown up suddenly the world chat gets reaaaaaalllll quiet.

I have had multiple seasons where the opposite happens and all of sudden more owners enter the fray on an IFA because people talk about how great he is in World Chat. The owner that ended up getting a HOF 1b type of player told me after he paid $20+mm for him that he only had $4mm in IFA scouting. There are a few owners in some of my Worlds that consistently post in World Chat about pending IFA players.
