Phelan Report Season 156

Welcome back. I think I wrote one of these a year ago now and got motivated to write a new one. Enjoy.

WHO’S HOT
#5 Missouri – DrewMit
These guys are still undefeated with one of the toughest schedules to date. They are a very well balanced team with 6 players averaging double digits. Drewmit hasn’t had the tigers rolling like this since their final four run in season 152. After 3 missed NTs The tigers are hungry and hoping to end up with a top seed come march.

#6 St. Bonaventure- Dillon_b12
The bonnies have been a staple in the northeast since Dillon Took over as HC. The only problem is they cant seem to finish come march with only 1 Elite 8 and ZERO final fours in Program history. But I don’t think The bonnies have had a potential #1 Draft pick ever either. This mat be the year that Dillon takes this team to new heights with the help of his C Donald Woolfork.

#15 Oklahoma – Brokenee
This is a young and well rounded squad that could make a lot of noise late in the season. Currently sitting at the #1 SOS they have only lost to the Bonnies and a good Montana team. Their Fr Guard Northington was a huge get this offseason and Robert Edwards is being called the greatest glueman in history. Brokenee finally has the Sooners on track again.

WHOS NOT
Kentucky- Skinsfan36
With one of the best rosters top to bottom the Cats have greatly underachieved. Skinzfan has not been see on campus and their Fr guards are lashing out on social media because they aren’t getting the minutes they were promised. Skinz didn’t schedule any exhibitions and is playing a 6 man rotation with 9 of the best players in the country. Could this be the year SKinz retires? It’s starting to look that way unless hes an auto renew kind of guy.

ACC as a whole
The ACC is playing like a mid major this season. Only one ranked team within the conference and it’s Georgia Tech? Where is UNC? Where is Duke? The ACC is currently 8^th in the Conf RPI with the MWC and A10 way above them.
Seton Hall- tristandavis
Tristan has put Seton Hall on the map with only missing the sweet 16 3 times in 10 years. That is very impressive. This season is a little different as they have started 4-4 but I can say they lost to good competition mostly. Don’t Count them out yet because the Big east is slightly down and I full expect them to make a late season run.

If skinz ends up retiring am I correct to assume John Colgrove, Lester Vaughn & Steven Keith are all transferring from UK to Dayton since I was 59%, 63% and 43% to land the three of them?

Robertoo, the days of the Flyers are coming to an end. You caught lightning in a bottle there for a bit, but just like Nick; I’m coming off a W where I just stomped your booty too! Where is Duke??? After so much praise about signing “NBA” recruits, seems like the whole team is looking toward Las their NIL deals and not focused on basketball. The crazies are not happy.
