Pete Rose definitely belongs in the Hall.  And my franchise might be bad enough to draft him as rookie.

With a 25 man roster, here are my team's totals for 1961:

It doesn't look as bleak as I expected.  I'll set a goal of 80 wins for Player/Manager Joe Torre, although I'd put the over/under at 72 wins.

man, Pete should be in the Hall.He was a lot of fun to watch play. I don't think the book would have taken a bet if Pete bet against his team. It's not right. COME ON! 4256 hits - enough said.

I managed to take the first non-HOF at #12 with Ron Santo. I felt a little awkward about that as there are at least a dozen HOF's with career time left in the draft, but I felt like Santo was the best player available. Still you would like to have someone more iconic to be the foundation of your team.
