Customer Service ticket Topic

I am not able to log in to my account to properly send a CS ticket to Hoops Dynasty. Clicking on Customer Service or Support Tickets from anywhere on any browser/device I use logs me in to LeagueSafe, where I don’t have access to any HD specific info, and where I know from experience things take longer to resolve. It isn’t a big issue right now, it’s just really annoying.

Does anyone know how to make this work now? Is there a trick I don’t know about? Maybe this is only an issue on certain devices/browsers. I know before, when I used Chrome, I could access it, but now Chrome works the same as Safari.

The issue I want to bring up, for the record, is that after having changed teams, I have found that a sophomore who was ineligible his first season is now expecting to start this season. As a first year coach who did not make those promises, I think probably those promises should be erased, as all promises from previous coaches are erased during recruiting. If that can’t happen for a technical reason, cool. If it’s intentional, I’d be interested to hear the reasoning. Anyway, I’d like this to happen before actual games start (exhibition scheduling starts today). Not the end of the world, but you know, would be great to address.

You shouldn't have to honor that as a new coach, I agree. But if it's a world I play in, and compete against you, I'm just going to keep quiet over here.....

Kidding! Nah I'd definitely push to follow up on it if I were you

how do you know he's expecting to start if he hasn't complained yet? does he have the start icon i guess?

also what's the timing? this your first season or second?

He has the icons. It’s my first season, Minnesota in Knight. Alex Nellis is the player. I’d rather start a low WE freshman for development reasons primarily; like I said, this case isn’t a big deal, but I imagine others may see bigger problems with this come up.

I ran into this in my first season at Tulane. Had a recruit that was promised a start and 25 minutes as an ineligible. Problem was, his Stamina was only 50. I made it work but it was a headache.

Update, this was handled pretty quickly once I sent a ticket through LeagueSafe, asking them to forward to WIS. Promises have been removed. Having my email copied helped me keep track of everything. Chatting over sitemail with a couple folks, I suspect the issue is with devices (tablets, phones). I don’t use a computer, I use an iPad primarily (secondarily a phone) to access the game, and it looks like devices do not have the same functions for switching out once auto log kicks in.

So they removed the promises even though they told us that they would have to be honored? Sounds like you caught a lucky break and those of us who inherited teams with ineligible promises got hosed. Live and learn I guess/

It's a different situation. If you promise an ineligible, then you'll need to keep that promise when they become eligible in their 2nd season. If you take over a team where a different coach promised an ineligible, then you shouldn't need to keep that promise (as you don't need to keep any promise a previous coach made). That was the issue here.

Right, the update was never intended to change the long-standing principle that new coaches don’t have to honor promises the last coach made. If you were told that by someone in CS, I think probably they made a mistake, or didn’t understand you. We know that, because when you take over a team, you can still inherit recruits from the first session - and even when the recruit has already signed, you will not have to honor those promises, they’re already wiped by the system. It’s just that this update doesn’t *yet* know how to automatically wipe the year-old promises for DNQ players on the roster that they’re retroactively re-applying, which to be fair, the system never had to worry about before. They apparently still need to do it manually. Hopefully they get this fixed in a patch soon.

You're right, you shouldn't have to keep those promises but I can tell you from firsthand experience that the guy I inherited was promised starts and 25 minutes and he began ******** about his minutes almost immediately. As I said in a different post, I made it work but the fact that he was promised 25 minutes and started the season with a stamina of 50 made it a bit difficult at times.

ah well then I should have done what shoe did. Good to know in the future since I thought I had to inherit other promises as well.
