PT when losing/winning big Topic

Not an important question but one Ive always wondered…

When selecting to give bench guys more time when the game is out of reach, whether it be because you are winning huge or losing huge; what actually constitutes “out of reach”?

I rarely give my bench extra time bc Idk if my “out of reach” is the same as the SIMS “out of reach”…

Thoughts?

its a reasonable definition of out of reach, i generally don't use it because i have starters who need minutes for promises and WE gain, but if you actually want your benchers to play when the game is over with a couple minutes to go, those boxes are fine.

Gillispie,

I don’t think I’ve ever used it either for the same reasons. But I still was curious as to what is actually considered out of reach. As I said before, not important really but every time I see those buttons I wonder what exactly that means….

I believe the cutoff for a blow out is 25 points.

I think the earliest I've seen the bottom of the depth chart play as a unit is around 7-8 minutes.
But the guys higher up the depth chart continue to sub in as the bottom guys gets fatigued.

I'm not sure at what point the scrubs get pulled, if they do, when the lead drops to???
