Boooo... PR sux for small conference teams Topic

Booo... PR is so annoying for small conference teams that have to play a lot of sims. I know my scheduling wasn't perfect, but dude.

Western Illinois is 28-1 this year.

Our loss was at home to #6 RPI Baylor, but we also beat #3 RPI Duke by 12. We also beat #18 RPI TX State San Marcos , and have 5 other Top 100 wins (2 on the road).

We lead the country by a mile with 106 points per game (second is Tennesee with 89 PPG) and also lead the country in point margin per game with 38 PPG (second in Tennesee with 29 PPG). In the real world, I'm guessing most years we would be a 1 seed with a Gonzaga-like resume (1 loss, 2 big time wins, and utter destruction of everyone else on our schedule). In HD we are actually a SIX SEED (!!!!). So annoying that if we go 11-5 in the SEC and split 8 more games with #20-40 RPI teams on our schedule we'd probably be up to a 3 or 4 seed, lol.

Complaining about seeding almost always guarantees an early exit.

eh, I'd take 9-1 and 4-1 vs top 100 with wins against #4 and #27 any day in real life... unfortunately the stupid computer PR seems to like beating 5 more teams with 50-75 RPIs instead of the marquee wins against 4 and 27

so damn right I needed a better non-con schedule to game the PR into higher seeding... scheduling is such a big part of this game and the right way to do it sucks!

Actually cub playing all those sims can give you one advantage: You can hide your true strategy and upperclassmen all the way to the NT first round.
