The North Carolina A&T Athletic Department is looking for a new head basketball coach to take over a successful program (in the Tark World). Coach will replace Coach Sim who attempted to guide the team last season after a successful 22 run at the school. He failed so he is getting the boot.

New coach should have the desire to lead the team in an extremely challenging conference with some of the best coaches in HD. North Carolina A&T is the only team without a coach. The MEAC was 2nd in Conference RPI behind only the Big 12, and has a track record of success and long term coaches. Morgan State was runner up in the championship game last year, and Delaware State has won three championships. Eight of the MEAC teams made the NT last year.

If you feel like you have the coaching skills to raise North Carolina A&T back to a level where it competes as one of the top teams in the conference, you will want to apply immediately.

This is the most fun conference, to me, in 616 seasons of HD. The spot is still open!

yes the MEAC is great - home of my one team. its a really good group of coaches, active and friendly... healthy mix of veterans and up and comers, trying to stick it to the BCS confs! but mostly just a fun place to coach. hope someone joins us and pick up the one open spot!

Most fun conference I've ever been a part of. Elite coaches like the 3 above - cubcub finishing year 3 of his rebuild and turning it around fast, gil ending year 6 as the #1 ranked team most of the season, chapel having one of the most dominant runs in HD at a low-tier D1 school with multiple NCs... and this is excluding jimmychino who just made the NC game on a phenomenal run.

Conference corner is the most active I've ever seen, I've both helped mentor and been mentored at times by the other coaches, while the competition is stacked versus the other coaches in the conference AND versus other conferences.

It'll be a rebuild at North Carolina A&T but, as cubcub is showing, it's possible to cut everyone and have successful restarts.

I’ve tried to jump in a couple times, but it’s never worked out - when I get bored at Fresno, this conference is probably my next stop.

That would be awesome! About half the time there are no openings, which is great! I just started a list of people we need to be sure to contact, so you are on that.

It probably won’t be in the next few seasons, but at some point I will have scratched the itch I had with that location.
