Of course I like the '21 hitting better but I really wanted Vance. But I caught a break when specsman took 1930 pitching as the last pitching combo.

Now I can add free agent 1921 Babe Adams. 1916 pitching didn't really have a good 1916 hitter to add.

FWIW, now that I'm looking I had marked 5 hitting combos as preferred though I expected I'd have none of them left. Schwarze did in fact take the 5th of them with his R2 pick.

I can slot the 1917 Hornsby in at SS to fill the biggest hole. Not his best season by far, but I think this works pretty well.
