Is this a new update? How have I never seen this before?

it was in the 3.0 beta i am pretty sure

been there at least since 3.0 started.

I have asked in prior threads how this actually works and no one seemed to have real knowledge. Did you hit the barrier?

I wonder whether timing counts - like lets say four schools have done a CV - then in the current cycle one school does a CV at say 1130 ET - that is number five - then at 1230 another school tries - does the "first" CV during the cycle go thru or is there a different process?

i too wonder this. i have no info though. i also wonder if all that even works... like if it says the CV goes through but it eats it, would we even know?

I don't know any info about the "5th team in", which is what some of you are asking. But AFTER 5 teams have processed CVs it works just like it does after you've spent 20 HV. On the recruits recruiting page under CV, there's a message that says "this recruit has accepted 5 CVs already".

I'm curious how that last spot works as well. I would assume once it's processed, someone would get their budget money back, and a message. I doubt it manages things BEFORE processing. Because I could offer a CV and be the 5th, and it would block other coaches, then I could withdraw my CV before the cycle processes and mentally screw everyone up Haha.
