I have been thinking about a new theme league centered on breaking a curse. I found six teams 2004 Red Sox, 2016 Cubs, 2010 Giants, 2010 Phillies, 2005 White Sox and 58/59 Cleveland Indians. All had curses or broke curses, Cleveland's officially still exists. Using those 7 seasons from the 6 teams you build a roster. Any season for any player that was on one of those teams. You should also select at least one position player and one pitcher from each of the listed teams and use one of the ballparks from those 7 seasons. I am thinking a budget of 120 to 150 million. Is there any interest in this idea?

I don't know if it is a curse but the Seattle Mariners have not been to the post-season since 2001. The longest drought of any major sports team. Not just Major league baseball. Maybe include 2001 Mariner's

No official curse on the Mariners. Seems so hard to fill a league, must be that the baseball playoffs are still in progress.
