I don’t know but for some reason I still love this game. After 100+ seasons and ten years, I still learn new things all the time. I can’t imagine that happening for any other hobby. The price point is fine with all of the bonuses, and the large majority of players are chill and easy to play with. Don’t change too much!
Biggest thing for me is the other people. I love the talk, the comradery and (trying) to beat other owners at this game. I can boot up NHL 20XX whatever or MLB the show whatever year and beat the pants off the AI but having only won 1 WS in 60 some seasons the challenge and the competition is real in this game. That's what has been keeping me around for 10+ years.

I am still around because I like that HD and HBD are games that are tactically based. So many online and video games seem to be dexterity based, and as a fossil I am never going to beat a young person at a game like that. (I confess I am a one-finger texter, but in my defense at least I know how to text.) So the fact that these are games for the brain, not games for the fingers, makes them different than a lot of what is out there right now.

I'm here to represent for the one-finger texters!
