One win away from having all 7 teams advance again.

The team I started by using the 4th overall pick of R2 to take the ‘44 pitching staff just squeaked out the very last spot to advance. So much for that draft strategy.

I came out as the luckiest team with my only team in the game. But it wasn't all luck. I had the 1990 Pitching staff, giving me sub-par starters, but one of the best bullpens across the leagues. I had a 33-13 record in 1-run games, mostly finished by Eckersley. That is still lucky, but not nearly as much as the stats make it look.
