I recruited a highly rated Center in the hopes that he would become eligible during the recruiting process. He did not, can he become eligible after the first semester? Or is he out the entire season?

Out the entire season. Keep all his practice minutes in study hall and then he'll at least have a decent GPA to start the next yr
