Has anyone else noticed this, which I see on some teams: if you look at the history tab it says the prestige is A, but the landing page says A+. Why are these different? I see this on a few teams as I look around. This is just one example.

Note: I was curious because I wonder how this would impact recruiting if the prestige is unclear/wrong in the code - which one is used for effort credit?

I expect on the landing page that is your current prestige and then notice in the history the current prestige is blank as it will be finalized at year end. I see no issue

That may be true, but when looking at other teams this didn't always seem to make sense. In this example, Mich State has said A+ before he even got to the final four. Or if you look at UC:

They have been at A prestige for several seasons now, including after a final 4 --- yet they will be A+ after a back to back second round exits this year? That seems strange.

That said, you are probably right, as I realize prestige looks at more than just the previous year - so maybe Mich St. has such a strong baseline prestige that just getting into the NT has vaulted him to A+ again since it looks at several past seasons results.

I am probably just a little salty too, since that means I am stuck at A- again even after an Elite 8 appearance.

Is this related to players being drafted? End of season, your history tab is updated with your prestige level. The prestige showing on your team landing page is updated at the same time. However, when the draft happens, your prestige can get temporarily bumped if you have high draft picks. This is reflected on your team page until season's end, but it does not update the previous year's ending prestige on the history page because you are technically in the next season, and the boost will not hold at season end,

The prestige in the history tab is the prestige that the team finished at when the season concluded. Prestige is bumped up after players are drafted, which takes place after the prestige is recorded in the history tab. If you’re seeing prestige as A on the history tab but A+ on the team landing page, it’s because that team had enough players drafted to bump their prestige up to A+ following the end of the season.

That makes a lot of sense. I completely forgot about draft picks as well. It seems like it would align, but I can see why it does not.

this is correct. EE change is the main thing that works like this, but also just for completeness, when new coaches take over and get a prestige adjustment, up or down, it also is not shown on the history tab, and the listed prestige and most recent history prestige will not match in this case either.
