Yea it was changed around a year ago. And it was stated somewhere. In a patch notes I believe. It was talked about here in the forums a bit. And yes the icons are there so it should be noticeable
But if you start him every game after the complaint email, he'll stay. Even if it's a few games short of the "80%" rule we all talk about.
i wish i had them handy, i've never had one personally, but there were some pretty compelling examples posted here on the boards of a couple/few guys who left despite meeting their promises after the complaint. like guys who missed 2 starts fairly early, complained after the 2nd, then left, that sort of thing. where i didn't think confusion over minutes vs starts was likely to be the culprit.
those cases seemed far enough from what i expected that i wondered if it was even intentional behavior. but still. it was not just one. one thing i have considered as a possibility is, maybe you are only guaranteed safe from promised start complaints IF the complaint comes at the initial complain evaluation period, which i think is after game 7. if you are meeting the promise then, and then back off, i think that might be where you get no slack? not sure though. i haven't kept links or something so i could go back and see if theories line up with what actually happened in those edge cases... i thought one of the guys might have even left missing just 1 start, but i can't remember (and i'd have no hope of explaining that, unless you just have zero leeway on start complaints, perhaps only for some players?)
