If you reserve a team ahead of the "new signup" period do you get to control recruiting cycle #2?

I'm debating between joining Rupp when the new sign ups start in roughly 36 hours or reserving a team in Allen and having to wait about 2 weeks. The ability to sign some of "my own guys" is probably my tiebreaker, but the wait will probably kill me as I've already spent waaaaay to much time reading the forums already (this is literally the only thing I couldn't find a clear answer about).

I'm coming back to HD after over a decade away. Thanks to the promo I found in my email, a 10 pack for $50 seemed pretty great. I've been pouring through the forums and feel like I have a decent grasp on most of the updates, thanks to everyone that put so much work into that!

New sign-ups and reserving are the same thing, neither will let you control RS2. If you want to get access to that second recruiting cycle, you need to find a world where you already played/have a resume and then apply for a job during the job change period.

Thanks for the quick response! I only previously played in Crum, and that's over a month out and I don't have that kind of patience. Now to decide which project to take on in Rupp.
