Somewhere in my lost knowledge of HD things, I know I used to believe that the sim would take over operations for a coach that has been away after a certain period of time. I think someone debunked this on the discord server, but I was pretty sure that it happened (maybe pre-3.0?).

Does anyone know if this happens, and if so, to what extent? Will the sim actually do some basic recruiting actions, or would it just be things like setting depth chart?

This used to definitely be a thing, not sure if it is now or not. most of my time was pre 3.0.
