No idea if this is a simple code change but would everyone be onboard with transfers being searchable by everyone a la the transfer portal? I mean, I think we should even be able to see ratings without scouting BUT at a minimum I think we shouldn't have to re-scout an area or solely rely on transfers reaching out to our programs to find them, particularly at D1.

I bring this up because there's a D1 transfer in Tark who, from what I can tell, for my program is completely unscoutable - he's D1 projected and I've already scouted both the state that he went to high school in and the state where his previous school was but I have no way of unlocking his profile so I can't recruit him, even though he went to a school less than 500 miles from mine (the one thing I haven't tried is the assistant coach search but I'd rather use my scout dollars this late in RS2 more strategically).

100% agree. it’s super unrealistic that coaches don’t have access to a full list of potential transfers.

That would improve user experience and I don't see any pitfalls. Sounds like a good change to me.

Yes, HD's version of the transfer portal makes good sense to me too.

Assistant search would get you there eventually.

Have you tried finding a box score with said player in it and then going from there? That typically will let you individual scout them.
