I have failed miserably recruiting this first season back.. is it better to try and sign what I can scrape together or take walk ons?

If you are going to be bad this year regardless of recruits I would bite the bullet, take the walk ons and be better positioned to recruit usable guys next season.

2 walkons won’t hurt too much, as long as you’re not switching to press, but if you have any scouting $ left, might be worth it to poke around D2 for some usable jucos still out there. They turn over scholarship resources fast, and actually help your team a little. KS, OK, ND, MN, and MO are some places where jucos hang out, besides the obvious CA and TX. There are probably others I’m forgetting.
