Yeah, my PG formula for example is:
Ath 13, Spd 18, Reb 1, Def 14, Blk 1, Lp 5, Per 10, Bh 18, Pass 19, WE 0, Sta 3, Dur 0.
Like most things in this game, it’s ratios. The total comes to 102; passing is given 18.6% weight, defense 13.7%, etc.
My best current PG on my D1 team is rated 74.6. (For balance on that team, I actually start him at SG where he rates 72.4, and then he backs up my starting PG.)
My best current PG on my D2 roster rates 66.5. Then my D3 rebuild with all new young players… the best current PG rates 48.4.
When you use player roles to rate players, the system also rates teams with a total average rating (plugging each position into your pre-set formulas.)
In my stacked D3 Iba conference, at the beginning of the season, the five top teams are also in the top 25 of team ratings: 57.6, 54.8, 54, 53, & 52.7. Then there are three more teams that fall just outside of the top 25: 52.5, 52.3 & 52.2. I expect all 8 of these teams to make it into the NT.
