Not exactly sure where he is going to play. I could start him at DH, moving Arky Vaughan from DH back to SS (benching Dick Bartell's superior glove). Or I could start him at 1B, force Bill Terry to play out of position at 2B (and bench weak hitting, great range Pep Young). Both decisions help the offense, but hurt the defense. I almost selected AL Simmons or Chuck Klein. Similar to the Foxx choice, that would require me to bench a worse hitting / better fielding OF in Lloyd Waner (and I'd still have the weaker hitting / better fielding 2B and SS in the starting lineup).
