Remember when Reds/LSU were both good?

And that wasn't a slam. I'm a huge Reds fan! My mom and I have been to 33 of the last 35 Opening Day games. But MAN they're terrible!

Lsu would've been awesome next yr but our frat star AD fired The General and jettisoned a Top 5 recruiting class.

Didn't a D3 coach sign a bunch of D1 stars by offering unlimited gifts? Then was undefeated until they all got banned?

I'm not sure about the undefeated part. Back in the day we used like 100 calls to pull down d1 players (I do not remember a limit on who you could not pull down). I think Zhawks got busted for offering gifts I do not remember the punishment. That was right when potential came out and we had to use emails to interpret how much a guy could improve. I guess it was like the wild west. I never got in trouble for using gifts except in the beta. I think it was a slap on the wrist.

i always feel bad for cincinnati-area residents who don't also have kentucky fandom to help get them through the rest. except the oh st football fans i suppose, who can jump in a lake

You got the Bengals coming off a super Bowl and UC was in CFP. That's a pretty solid year!

But yeah, Reds are trash man. I went to opening day this year and probably won't go to too many other games the rest of the season.... But where ya gonna go.

There was a lot of crazy stuff back in the early days of HD. At one point, PE wasn't connected to other attributes and you could score a ton of points by just getting a bunch of "shooters" and ignoring all other aspects of their game. I used to also love to get a bunch of high rebounding Cs and play zone with 3 Cs starting at the 3,4 & 5. I had teams that would score almost every trip down b/c we got every rebound until we eventually scored. One of my Belmont teams should have one a NC playing that style but, suspiciously, my opponent got like 50 FT attempts in the NC game.
